GuangJI Si is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. It was located to the west of Xisi crossroad, in the Xicheng District. Just as its name goes, it is a temple of great charity, so it’s also called Great Charity Temple. Today, it is the site of Chinese Buddhism Association as well as the center of conducting national Buddhist activities.
